A Michigan man files teeth down and holds a woman captive by threatening to bite into her neck

Michael Anthony Barajas is being held on a $250,000 bond

Genesee County, Michigan – 36-year-old Michael Anthony Barajas is being held on $250,000 bond for allegedly holding a 20-year-old pregnant woman hostage and sexually assaulting her.

Barajas is being accused of personally filing his own teeth and using them as a weapon against the woman and forcing her to do things against her will. The woman was reported to have been held captive since Thanksgiving. Barajas spotted the young woman walking after she was kicked out of a previous residence, and he offered her a place to stay.

Immediately upon arriving at Barajas’s home, he allegedly restricted her to a certain room and tied her to a bed. The woman was only able to escape because she was rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency and nurses recognized her marks of abuse.

Genesee County Sheriff Deputy, Chris Swanson, shared on a Facebook post previewing a Facebook Live detailing the story that Barajas threatened to use his teeth to rip her throat out.
